Created in 1989 by the pianist Andy Emler, the Megaoctet has some of the greatest current French jazz musicians.

Released on February 3, 2023, the new album « No Rush ! » (La Buissonne/PIAS) is the latest by Andy Emler MegaOctet since the eponymous opus published in 1990 followed in 1992 by Headgames (Label Bleu), in 2004 by “Dreams in tune” (Nocturne), in 2007 by “West in peace” (Nocturne), in 2009 by “Crouch, touch, engage” (Naïve), in 2012 by “E total” (La Buissonne/PIAS), in 2014 by “Présence d’esprit” on which Archimusic and Elise Caron joined the MégaOctet, in 2015 “Obsession 3” (La Buissonne/PIAS ), in 2018 by “A moment for…” (La Buissonne/PIAS) and in 2021 “Just a beginning” (PeeWee!/Socadisc) recorded in concert at the D’Jazz Nevers Festival…
